      <image:title>Seatless Folder - Discovery Phase</image:title>
<image:caption>To study how people sat on their chairs, I walked around from classrooms to the wood shop and also computer labs. From these different locations, I've noticed how people who were deeply concentrated sat at the front of their seat and not used their backrest. This meant that I could reduce the amount of surface for sitting and eliminate the backrest.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Using the ergo box, I tested where to position the seat and the lumbar support and how wide it it should be apart. My instructor liked the idea of having less footprint and also how I dared to use as less dowels as I could. He thought it would be a good idea to keep the dowels as a seat and also lumbar support.</image:caption>

I'm a product designer who hails from a lot of places, but that doesn't stop me from doing what I love to do: design. I first discovered my passion of product design at Parsons School for Design in NYC. There I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Product Design. With a mindset that not many people have, I observe objects and my surroundings well. I'm a tinkerer and I have an understanding of how objects work on a mechanical, objectional, and human level. Thinking logically and optimistically comes natural to me. It allows me to help others with their work. I hope that these skills lead me to go beyond just helping on projects, but helping solve problems for the everyday person. It's a part of why I love doing what I do.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Sensvoid Folder - Foot Rest</image:title>
<image:caption>This foot rest was added in at the last minute because I didn't have any other idea to make the chair stable. But it ended up being very useful: it keeps the whole chair from falling; it could be used as a handle while moving the chair around; and I've noticed that people, including myself, liked to put their foot on it while sitting down.</image:caption>

<image:title>Sensvoid Folder - Tilt on the Back Rest</image:title>
<image:caption>I've decided to put a tilt on the back rest because I thought that it could be hazardous without the tilt. They might accidentally hit their head on it, or scratch their back while they are using the chair. It also turned out to be useful while moving the chair around.</image:caption>
